1. 詞組in the front of和in front of都有“在……前面”的意思，但含義不同。in the front of表示“在……（范圍內的）前面”；而in front of表示“在……（范圍外的）前面”。如：
He likes to sit in the front of the classroom.
他喜歡坐在教室的前排。
There is a pond in front of the house.
房屋前面有個池塘。
2. At table意為“吃飯；進餐”；at the table意為“在桌邊”。如：
He seldom talks at table.
他吃飯時很少說話。
We sat at the table，talking.

3. Go to school意為“開始求學；到校上課”；go to the school意為“去學校（但不一定是上學）。”如：
He usually goes to school by bike.

11. Last week（month…）指現在講話時以前的那個星期（月……）；the last week（month…）指到今天為止的以前的一個星期（月……）里。如：
I had a cold-last week.
我上星期感冒了。
I has had a cold for the last week.
我感冒了一個星期。
